I want to enter into the coming year glamorously with the new earrings. At the moment I try to define if they are made in art deco or art nouveau style.

Let’s start with art deco. For me Art Deco represents refined luxury, glamor, exuberance. Deco emphasizes geometric forms: spheres, polygons, rectangles, trapezoids, zigzags, chevrons, and sunburst motifs. Elements are often arranged in symmetrical patterns. Colors tend to be vivid and high-contrast.Rationality without excesses, expressed in clean lines. Used mainly three colors: white, cream and black. Deco took Nouveau flowers, mixed with the geometry of Constructivism adding its passion for exotic materials and archaic cultures obtaining the formula of luxury, which has not lost its vogue up to now.
Art nouveau distinguishing feature is the rejection of straight lines and angles for a more natural lines.Art nouveau is characterized by fine lines of poetry. Flexible fluid forms.
