Location / Design
Central location in Palma old town a little of main shopping street Jaime III. Relatively small place, interior dominated by light wood. Used to be a tea lounge hence the name.
Food:
One of the major positive surprises recently. The Set Evening Menu offered about 4-5 delightful choices for starters and main courses. The veggie wrap was truly delicious, seasoning and cooking to the point. The starter shrimps were sitting in a spicy base of olive oil combining very well with the rucola on top. Duck as a main course was just right with small bits of a tasty sauce. The potato gratin well done, but could have been a little munchier. Fish course equally delicious sitting on typical Mallorquin tumbet (kind of ratatouille). Desserts at similar good quality.
Beverages:
Mainly local and Spanish wines. Not broad but good enough.
Overall Value & Rating:
At EUR 18.50 for a three-course dinner absolutely fantastic. Friendly staff, good location and encouragement of non-smoking make this a clear hit.
