The @thesetaimiamibeach hotel has a prime location on the waterfront in Miami Beach. It comes also with a beautiful terrace resto right on the beach.
The hotel is owned by the Nakash family which made their initial fortune with the Jordache Jeans brand. They were the pioneers of designerjeans in the 70s/80s and created stylish advertising campaigns for that. They were also 50% shareholders of Guess jeans at some stage.
In #Miami the Nakash’ also own the Versace Mansion and the Victor hotel (a pretty Boutique hotel on Ocean Drive – also recommended)
Atmosphere: stylish wooden terrace right on the beach, tables beautifully set with pristine white tablecloths. View towards the ocean spectacular & pleasant smart-casual feel. 8/10
Crowd: lots of guests from the pool area – which always has a lot of good-looking patrons. Also popular for lunch with the local business community. 8/10
Food: well-prepared standards with good salads, burrata, perfect club sandwich, tasty Paillard & excellent grilled meat/fish. Truffle pizza a must! 7/10.
Drinks: extensive champagne list with standard names (Veuve Cliquot $175, Cristal $390) and some smaller vineyards. Another one without anything Demisec. 7/10
Service: our waitress was a little manic-depressive. Sometimes VERY friendly & cheerful, sometimes extremely formal & distant. Overall she got the job done ok. 6/10.
Overall a very good 36/50 for a beach restaurant. We visited twice & will be back for sure! 👄🔝
Prices $$$$/5 so be sure the occasion is worth it 😀😀❤️🔜☀️
